Went for the bottomless tacos. They were delicious. The starters were so good. The cocktails were dangerously yummy. There was a dj there playing all sorts of fun music. Honestly had a great night.

If you love Mexican food and tequila, this is the place to be! My colleagues and I had a team dinner at Upstairs at La Bodega Negra, and I have to say, we couldn’t have chosen better. From start to finish, the experience was incredible. There were six of us, so we went for the group set menu, which included six dishes to share. We kicked things off with herbed guacamole with pico de gallo and totopos, a refreshing seabass ceviche, and a ridiculously good quesadilla loaded with cheese and chimichurri. For mains, we had fish tacos with avocado salsa, chicken tacos al pastor with pineapple pico de gallo, and a delicious mushroom taco with chipotle black beans and pecorino sour cream. Every single dish was bursting with flavor, and of course, we washed it all down with the best spicy margaritas. As amazing as the food and drinks were, the service was the real highlight. The staff made the night even more special, and we’re still talking about how great everything was. One of my colleagues was so impressed, they’re now on a mission to recreate the mango margaritas at home. Safe to say, we’ll definitely be back!

Food was good! Spicy margarita wasn't super spicy but it was tasty. Service was a bit too intense for me, very attentive but in a way where we weren't given that much time to read the menu before we were supposed to decide. Gave me the vibe of being rushed out. Also having the front open meant that that it was very noisy with all the street sounds which I found a bit intrusive. But still had a very nice time!

I had such fun at La Bodega Negra in Soho. The vibrant ambiance perfectly captures the essence of a fun Mexican restaurant. The cocktails were absolutely delicious—especially the margaritas, which were refreshing and packed with flavor. We also indulged in their unique cocktails with a Mexican twist, each one more delightful than the last. The tacos were a highlight of the evening! We tried both the mushroom and chicken varieties, and they were bursting with flavor. Paired with a selection of their other small plates, every bite was a treat. The atmosphere was electric, with great vibes and lively music setting the perfect tone for a fun night out. The energy in the restaurant was contagious, making it a fantastic spot for gathering with friends. Highly recommend La Bodega Negra for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food and drinks in a vibrant setting!

I recently had the pleasure of dining Upstairs at La Bodega Negra Mexican Restaurant Soho, and it was an absolute triumph! I've eaten my fair share of Mexican food in London, but this experience truly stood out. The lamb tacos were simply sensational. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful, perfectly seasoned with a blend of spices that danced on my palate. The tortillas were soft and pliable, providing the perfect vessel for these culinary delights. However, the star of the show was undoubtedly the jalapeño margarita. It was a masterpiece! The perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tart, with a subtle smoky undertone that added an unexpected depth of flavor. It was the most refreshing and invigorating margarita I've ever had. The service was impeccable. My server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, guiding me through the menu with enthusiasm. The restaurant's ambiance was lively and inviting, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. If you're a fan of authentic Mexican cuisine, I wholeheartedly recommend Upstairs at La Bodega Negra Mexican Restaurant Soho. You won't be disappointed!

A varied menu with a mix of dishes that are vegetarian friendly. My friend and I split the taco platter and the ceviche for dinner and were satisfied with that amount of food! The tacos were good, the guac on the fish taco was a particularly standout element. The ceviche was good, but I found the big chunks of the sea bass to be less nice than thin slices would have been.

Food was excellent, especially the tacos. Enjoyed the goddess salad and the steak as well. Service was prompt and friendly. We went at a quiet time where many tables were empty.
